House League RallyCap  

Registration Opens – January 1st, 2025 and closes March 31st, 2025 (or at capacity) 

 

FMBA follows Baseball Canada's RallyCap Program. This is an initiative to enhance players' and coaches' experience with the game. The program helps teams teach players the five FUNdamentals of baseball in a fun and safe environment.  

Program Details:  

 

Season begins May 1, 2025 (weather and fields permitting) & ends June 30th, 2025. 

  

 Days of Play: Monday & Wednesday OR Tuesday & Thursday  

(Twice a week at diamonds in Okotoks) 

  

 1 hour practice / game play consisting of 20 minutes in the outfield developing skills, 20 minutes batting as a team, 20 minutes fielding as a team. Rotating with up to 2 other teams on the same field. Teams consist of 7-8 players per team.    

Equipment Required: Helmet, Baseball Glove, Bat, Shoes (cleats are optional)

Important Dates and Timelines 

 

Evaluations: April 5th, 2025 @ Okotoks Recreation Centre - Curling Rink. An email will be sent with additional information and details.   

 

Schedule Finalization / Teams: This will be done as soon as all volunteer coaches are identified after the evaluations.  

Volunteer Coaches  

Coaches Clinic: Big Al’s coaching clinic to be provided to all coach volunteers prior to the start of the season. More details will be provided to the coaches.  

Coaches Meeting – Online via Microsoft Teams April 28th, 2025 

Bucket pick-up (shirts/ balls/ hats): April 29th & 30th, 2025.
