Registration Opens – January 1st, 2025 and closes March 31st, 2025
FMBA Tykes will follow Baseball Canada's Rally Cap Program. This is an initiative to enhance players' and coaches' first experience with the game. The program helps teams teach players the FUNdamentals of baseball in a fun and safe environment.

Evaluation Date: No evaluations for this age group.
Season Start – May 3rd, 2025 (weather permitting) Season Ends – June 28th, 2025.
Tykes will play once a week on Saturdays mornings at diamonds located at Percy Pegler or OJ schools in Okotoks.
1 hour practice / game play consisting of 20 minutes in the outfield developing skills, 20 minutes batting as a team, 20 minutes fielding as a team. Rotating with up to 2 other teams on the same field. Teams consist of 6-7 players per team.
Equipment Required: Glove, bat (shared) and proper footwear. FMBA shirts and a hat will be provided to all players.

Schedule Finalization / Teams: This will be done as soon as all volunteer coaches are identified.
Volunteer Coaches
All coaches will have access to our online Big Al Training and Development Program. This program includes everything you need for the season; the skills and strategy, drills and practice plans.
Coaches Clinic: Big Al’s coaching clinic to be provided to all coach volunteers prior to the start of the season. More details will be provided to the coaches.
Coaches Meeting – Online via Microsoft Teams April 28th, 2025
Bucket pick-up (shirts/ balls/ hats): April 29th & 30th, 2025.
